Walking Sessions
Considering the high prevalence of anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions worldwide, many people may benefit from the positive mental health effects of exercise.
If you are looking to jumpstart your self-care by combining mental and physical well-being at the same time, booking an in-person walking and talking session is available.
There are several brain chemicals or neurotransmitters that get released during exercise, such as endorphins and dopamine. The more these chemicals are activated in your brain, the better you will feel mentally and physically.
Therefore, combining exercise and talk therapy can be a double benefit!
While I am not certified in anything exercise related, I do have extensive experience with exercise having run the New York City marathon and multiple 5 and 10ks. I have also competed in one olympic triathlon and several sprint triathlons. I know what it’s like to feel out of shape and in shape and will be sensitive and accommodating to wherever you are on the exercise spectrum.
These sessions will include A 50 minute walk on a predetermined course with a designated meet-up spot. If you would rather start with a 30 min walk we will divide the time between a walk and an in-office visit.

Please make sure you have cleared it with your Doctor before starting any new exercise regimen.
The price of an in office visit and a walking session is the same.
